Spectacular scenery awaits you on our Limassol hiking tour to Kalavasos Dam. Completed in 1985, the height of the Dam embankment is 60m and the length is 462m. Designed by: Rofe Kennard & Lapworth in association with Chr. Ioannides Constructed by: J&P - Medcon. The Dam is part of the Vasilikos river, the reservoir surface is 875.000m2.

Total distance from our basecamp in Vasa Kellakiou to Kalavasos Dam is 4 km, we stop at the Dam viewpoint for pictures, then return back to basecamp. It's a direct out and back route and the total distance is 6.75 km. Total time of the hike depends on the groups overall fitness, typically the hike takes 1 hour.
There is some steep hills both up and down, your fitness and health should be good, you should be comfortably capable of walking 10,000 steps in one day. If you are unfit, unwell or on medication, you must seek advice from your doctor before attempting our hiking tour.
