The Limassol Running Club was established December 2010, it's founder Michael Rivers, a passionate Vegan ultra runner and finisher of 10 x 42km Marathons went on to create the biggest international trail ultra Marathon in Cyprus, Cyprus Ultra, a 217km mountain trail running race in the hills of Vasa Kellakiou.  The Limassol Running Club in 2023 is as strong as ever with a passion to helping new runners experience the best trail and beach runs in Limassol Cyprus.

15th February 2023, perhaps the last snow hiking adventure for me until next winter.

One of the many beautiful waterfall hikes in Cyprus is in the area of Moniatis, high in the Troodos mountains. The waterfall is called Mesa Potamos and is a wonderful place for hiking and picnicking. About 40 km from the Limassol tourist area, around 54 minutes by car. With beautiful nature trees and different levels of the waterfall to explore plus many hiking trails, I highly recommend a visit for nature hiking lovers.

One of my most recommended nature trail hikes in the Troodos mountains, from the adorable village of Pano Platres, follow the Millomeris Waterfall Trail to the amazing Millomeris Waterfall. Easy parking in the designated car parks in Pano Platres village, wonderful cafes and traditional Cypriot Tavernas to return to in the village after you have completed the hike.

Finikaria Hiking Trail, Germasogeia Dam, Limassol Cyprus. Just 10 minutes drive from Limassol city and tourist area. Easy hiking routes from 1.5km to much further distances. A highly recommended hiking trail for when you don't have the time to drive to the Troodos mountains or the Rejuvenation Hiking trails in the Vasa Kellakiou mountains.
